Skelp Audits

Line pipe quality is inherently reliant on the integrity of the plate and coil from which it is produced.  Subsequent to casting, the production of plate for DSAW line pipe and coil for ERW line pipe is a critical step in the pipe making process.  ITI and the Microalloyed Steel Institute can specify chemical and thermal parameters during casting and rolling in order to ensure quality line pipe can be produced from the skelp.  ITI International and the Microalloyed Steel Institute can specify the appropriate auditing and inspection necessary for each project and production facility.
